Wearing a robe in my a hotel room after a long day of shooting in the sun we presented a concept to IKEA that we all fell in love with.
As the WSL creative lead for this dream project my team worked alongside the collaborative team at IKEA – the same team that did the Virgil Abloh collab. After a year of calls, zooms, and a trip to Sweden we developed a collection made of renewable and recycled materials inspired by the surf lifestyle at large.
Per IKEA: KÅSEBERGA collection addresses our planet’s global challenges, while supporting a sustainable everyday life — in and around water. The limited collection will be available May 2022.
